Intraday short selling (IDSS) on Bursa Malaysia is available to all eligible customers of M+ Online.  IDSS is available on KLSE Stock Exchange Malaysia Market. 1. What is Intraday Short Selling (IDSS)? IDSS allows investors to sell securities that they don’t own, and then buy the same later to square off. All sell positions must be closed off with buy positions within the same trading day before 4pm. 2. What are the lists of companies that allowed to IDSS? IDSS can only be applied to selected securities in the list determined by Bursa Malaysia. This list will be reviewed and updated every six months by Bursa Malaysia. 3. Who can apply for IDSS? This facility is open to all clients. 4. Can I perform IDSS via online trading channels? Yes. You can IDSS using our M+ Online App/Website.  Choose IDSS Order Entry. It applies to IDSS Sell and IDSS Buy. 5. How to know the counters are IDSS enabled?  Stocks that with a symbol ^ are allowed to IDSS. 6. How to make profit through IDSS? Eg. Stock A IDSS Sell at 1.70 IDSS Buy at 1.60 You will earn 0.10 from this trade. 7. Will IDSS Suspended? Yes. If a stock drop 15% in one day, IDSS will be suspended. How to sign up for IDSS?
