What are the trading hours of US stocks? US stocks are usually start from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (ET). From March to November, Summer Time is from 9:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m (GMT+8) . Winter time, from November to March: 10:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (GMT+8) Pre-market trading hours: 4:00 a.m. -9:30 a.m. (ET) Summer Time: 4.00 p.m.-9.30 p.m. (GMT+8) Winter time: 5.00 p.m.-10.30 p.m. (GMT+8) Post-market trading session: 4:00 p.m.-8.00 p.m. (ET) Summer Time: 4.00 a.m.-8:00 a.m. (GMT+8) Winter time: 5.00 a.m.-9:00 a.m. (GMT+8) For more details, you can visit my previous blog post. 2. Is there a limit on the US Stock Price? No. A stock may up 20% or more, down 20% or more in a day. 3. What is the minimum number of trading shares? The minimum number of trading shares on the US stock market is One share. 4. How are securities/stocks being settled? T+2. The payment of securities takes place two business days after the date of the order (T). On T+2, brokers and clearing institutions officially move stocks from buyers' accounts to sellers' accounts and cash from sellers' accounts to buyers' accounts.
